Victoria Peak

Hellooo!!
Just come up the tram to the top of Victoria peak on hong kong island but so far very wet and cold. Apparently the coldest jan in years!
Yesterday we explored the mainland - Kowloon. Very touristy and we get hassled quite a bit. narrowly avoided food poisoning in one restaurant but other meals very nice. (mum i had real singapore noodles!)
Last night we saw A Symphony of Lights from across Victoria Harbour which was super.
Hong kong island much nicer than the mainland as we felt a bit misplaced there, a bit uncomfortable.
We came across the harbour in the Star Ferry which was really nice and so cheap - about 15p!!
It has been a bigger culture shock than we ever imagined hence the mixed feelings!
