Master Kai Taipo event early 2010 Kai HKU4

Results: played VF4 developed 5-0, THT developed 3-1, SKS3 drew 2-2. Angus and Miguel were the try scorers.

Team 4 continued to show great spirit and improved presence on the field with every single player trying their best. The team worked as a cohesive unit with Angus and Miguel filling the three quarter positions to good effect with good scores. Harrison, Charmaine and Kai showed improved positioning and all got strong tackles in against every team. It was a great pleasure to have feisty Mathilde from Saturday join us - she had a very strong tournament and we hope to see her this season. The pack of Oscar, Sanvritti and Arya were models of good forward play and totally “Got it”. Team 4 will continue to develop and do credit to the U8 squad. A special mention to the SKS referee in the first and third matches who showed great patience, fairness and humour as we had a great day of rugby. Pennants from this tournament as follows.

Kai : ever present on the field with his gazelle like grace, improving positioning with no unforced errors in any of his three matches. Kai has been playing for four seasons now and continues to develop into a stronger and more focused player.
