Monastery Madness!
The monasteries were wondrous, so amazing that even though quite ancient, they still sported discernible frescoes and carvings. I would, however, have liked to see Scott in a skirt for the service! But what madness was in your adventures from the best to the worst of hotel hosts and food (oh boy, mayo/cheese pizza and that nasty churchkhela that I was chicken to even try in Russia), sheep crossings and killer ducks, and the hard-to-believe figure of 700 people being slaughtered at one go without the help of automatic weapons. Very entertaining tour that one was! Love the grape troughs, jugs in the ground and roadside wine dispensaries--very exotic!

No skirt for me
Me in a skirt would not make a pretty picture. The churchkhela did not taste the way we expected, nothing offensive, just chewy and crunchy.

fifa
I heard a rumour that your Georgian taxi driver is now working for Fifa and doing well . If you can build a magnificent deck at Mooney Mooney you should be able to nock up a small balcony for your motel room and it would have been less stressful than all the arguing . Just saying .

My kingdom for a hammer
Actually the taxi driver looked a bit like Sepp Blatter, so maybe it's his new job. I should have packed my tools with me, just about every room we have got has had something broken, may have got free board.

Feasting in Georgia and Sexy legs
Ok, shoddy brakes, no worries-- you are experienced world travelers. At least they were still working a bit. The food does sound hit and miss but when it is good .....a feast. Go back and get the skirt so we can see a photo. I'm trying to imagine your killers ducks and I'm having a good laugh. A the joys of friendship. Wonder how much that cost? Enjoy the coast.

hairy legs + skirt = no photos please
The skirts are long so you wouldn't see too much of my legs but there are still decency laws that would probably prevent me from publishing them. it was strange when women could enter the church wearing almost mini skirts but Michele couldn't with full length trousers, religions always have the strangest rules.
