Yesterday we had our first art class with Laoshi Judy. We got given a book and paints and we had to put our names on them because they cost 300 yuan and the paper was also quality art paper. They were watercolour paints and we had to come up with a shape and then put colours coming from each side and blend them together. We started by filling the shape with just water, then we used a colour to blend from the edge towards the centre with each colour. I was surprised how much we were all learning together being part of a grade 11 class. There were a lot of people in the one class, but we all started our own work and pulled it off! I am looking forward to our next art class.
