Don’t ever try and find a bank in Guangzhou - it’s a nightmare and when you do find one it takes at least 3 hours to change travellers cheques. 10 people took 3 hours to exchange money. I already had my money, so was waiting paitently outside while the others got their money!! Theres not much good to say about this town, thankfully we weren’t staying here!!

Overnight train to Guilin
Would be very interested to hear about the overnight train trip to Guilin. My wife and I are looking at doing this in September. Thanks, Tim
