Hey, just to let everyone know we arrived safely in our first destination stop (Beijing), something we had firm doubts of achieving ourselves as doubtless many of you did also. This first major achievement was closely followed by our mastery of the intricate minefield that is travelblog.org. (Note to Donna and Stephen, we are now fully proficient in the dark arts of the UBS port and MP4 downloads as you kids call them)

Anyways on with the exciting story of quest to discover all that Beijing(Marco Polo's first t-shirts were made here you know, as Mei will testify) has to offer. The truth is we don't know what's on offer yet apart from leggy blondes and peking duck but that's just my side of the story and I'm sure Mei has her's. Nah honestly, we're due for a couple of hectic day's sightseeing as the jet lag has now been banished and today's entry was just to confirm our existence in Asia. We will endeavour to update the blog as we go !

I sent you a personal msg...hope you got it...its about your test results i picked up from doctors you asked me to get......seems all clear and apparantly that rash in the nether regions was not what you thought......its simply caused by wearing dirty pants and constant "flashing" in unsanitised areas.....which makes absolute sense when you think about it!! mai...control the man will you!! for his own safety
