Return Trip - Day 2: Chicago

Flew from Logan to Chicago last pm. Had 3 hour lay over, boarded the plane, and then they announced that the plane needed servicing so we'd have to wait for another. Two hours later they cancelled the flight and chaos ensued. Fortunately a American Airlines agent (Karen Haro) pulled us from the very end of the re-booking line and rescheduled all four families on a flight for today, booked us a hotel and gave us food vouchers. While disappointing for the girls, it could have been much worse, and there were many smiles after we received the new tix. If all goes well, we'll be int he air at 5:20 this evening and landing in Beijing 13 hours and 10 minutes later.
