Foot massage!
My poor feet!! Where has this month gone? It has flown by!!
It has been yet another busy month and a couple of new experiences!!!
I went for a lovely foot massage with one of the mums from Matthew's school. This is the second one I've had but at different places. I thought they were all the same so I was sitting there chatting away to my friend when I just happen to glance down at the lady rubbing my feet and saw she was holding this glass jar.....didn't happen at the other place but as I kept looking she sprayed the jar with a lovely smelling spray which I thought was for my feet but then she got out a lighter and set the jar alight and stuck it to my foot!!!! It all happened so fast but I think the scream and they way I almost fell off the bed said it all!!!! My god I was not expecting that to happen!!!! Ouch!
I have been busy making beaded jewellery, my new hobby to keep me busy while in China! I've made quite a few things now and my Chinese teacher kept saying they are really good
I should sell them. We had a garage sale at school coming up and I had sorted out Williams out grown clothes and toys to sell so I thought id use half the table and sell some jewellery - what did I have to loose? Well, 2nd new experience after my feet!! It started at 2pm but I thought I would get there early and lay out my jewellery, make it look nice etc and price things up. I had Mr Lv helping me carry some of the things I was selling and as soon as he walked into the school cafeteria he had sold 1 thing before even getting to the table! I had my hands full of bags and a large box with my beads in.....before I had put anything down it was like bees round a honey pot !!! I am not sure where all the Chinese people came from but they were all around me, searching my bags, in my boxes.......I had never seen anything like it!! As soon as I was trying to set up my table they were taking it all off. Then a lady picked up a handful of necklaces and dropped them

CRAZY HAIR DAY AT TIS!!!! on the table........Deep breath and counting to ten, I started again setting up the table!!! By 2.20 I had sold most of the kids things and by 3.30 I had sold 35 necklaces, 22 bracelets and I had made 14 child size things and had sold 12 of them!! I was very impressed with my self!! I did a very good deed as well, one of the security guards had only 3 RMB which is about 3p back in England.....he wanted to get something for his wife but didn't have enough money so I ended up giving him 2 necklaces and a bracelet!! They stand out in all weathers at the main school gate and earn very little. He left a happy man!!
I took William for a lovely autumn bike ride, watched the people doing their early morning exercises!!
Matthew has been busy at school during this month......He has finally started soccer classes which we call football!!! His class are going to play against Tianjin International school on the 5th December.......They have only been playing for 2 weeks due to building work on the school field!!! God help them!! They all run in different directions when the
ball comes near!! But at least they will have fun and a great experience!! I have been a good mum, standing on the side in the cold watching them play and last week the teacher had no helper so I got roped in to help a little!!
Matthew had "Crazy Hair" day at school last week!! Still not sure why they did this but it was a fun day!!
Matthews teacher wanted parents to go into school and read to the class, so far I was the only one who volunteered to read a story to the children but I suppose someone had to go first!! It was like being back at work!!!
My very good friend Jojo gave birth to a tiny little boy named Lucas. I enjoyed having cuddles and looking forward to lots more!!
Christmas is coming!!! Yay that can only mean one thing!! The tree has been up for a week now and letters off to Santa. Christmas cards made, and the glitter is out!!! I have made the boys an advent calendar this year so that is up and ready. Each year in England Matthew has a few friends over the

Being the good mum, standing on the side, in the cold watching Matthew play football in his after school club!! week before Christmas and we make decorations, reindeer food, play games and have lots of fun....and living in China is no different!!! I have been busy hunting and ordering fun things to do with Matthew and his friends, we are going to have soooooo much fun!!! That is happening this Saturday coming. I will then do a little something with William and his friend Lipy from upstairs. We love this time of year! I went into Tesco today and they were playing all the Christmas songs and carols....in Chinese but same tune!!!
Winter has hit Teda.......Freeeeezing today, -5 but blue skies so shouldn't moan! The air has been bad the last couple of weeks so even though it was a little fresh this morning it was nice fresh air!!
