Ive done two trips to the Wall so far, the first time it was the 'secret wall' a section of the wall that only the leo of leo hostel visits with groups, so 3 of us walked about 5 hours along and across the wall, it was very dramatic as you can see and we were th only people there so it was quite impressive. The second trip i went to thetouristy section at Badaling, which is nice but nomore impressive and about a million more people. Also the first section was unrestored so it was more interesting. Anyway it was very exciting. Im going to head off to the holy Taoist mountain of Tai Shan on saturday, then off to Shanghai. So i shall write again in Shanghai.

Glad you're enjoying Chinese signs for stupid English tourists. You'll find plently more in Shanghai. I recommend a sleazy looking bar called "Shanghai Babe": very dodgy looking singer "singing"(badly) Disney songs with fat Americans letching after her. You'll love it. Han xxx - Han
