The lake was so close to our hotel that we walked there practically every day.

The Hanoi Lake was our route to many fascinating sights. It was here that John McCain's plane crashed during the Vietnam War.

Hanoi's in-city lake was a place of beauty and a fun area to people watch.

Taipei was very busy, but also had a number of nice spots to stop and enjoy the view.

We ended up buying an umbrella because it rained so much.

Miranda was tickled pink to find a restaurant named Modern Toilet after she had mistakenly translated a sign in Montreal advertising Kitchen and Bath items (Salle De Bain Cuisine) as "Toilet Food".

It was hard to get Bryan to try another restaurant after he had discovered this one where you got to cook your own meal (with lots of Angus beef) at your table -- all you can eat!

It's always nice to have a place to sit down when you arrive early. Bryan and I reminisced about sight seeing done with our parents at this McDonald's near 101.
