My first overseas experience: China

Hello everyone. So before I leave for Africa I wanted to start this blog so I can keep in touch with everyone. I thought a good way to start would be to post my favorite photo's from my trip to China in May 2007. While on this trip we traveled extensively, taking seven flights and 2 cruises in fifteen days!!! This first photo is in Shanghai, our first chance to settle (for two days) after the grueling 30 straight hours of initial travel. Needless to say be glad that this is not smellivision 😊

So things haven't worked out as I planned but that's ok. This page will be a way for me to share what I am experiencing while I travel....where ever that is. So I guess it'll be more of a tracking device for those I care about and all the great travelers I have met to see where I have been, am and en route to next :) I am bound and determined to leave my practical, ultra responsible and rooted life behind and stay permanently out of my comfort zone.
