Bus days

once again, an early morning got us on the first bus out of jinhong and on our way to Mohan, a sketchy border town to Laos. After 8 hours we got to the border, pssports stamped and we walked across the country line to laos. Hired a minivan to take us to Luang Nam Tha. Tried to buy soy milk and snacks and were first confused by the prices listed in the thousands.

Driving through the Laos scenerey was beautiful. We quickly found a guesthouse and were SO happy to be out of a vehicle. Excited for new food we orded every laos specialty recommended and burnt our tongues off the rest of the night from papaya and beef salads and spring rolls washed down with beer laos.
