Day Five 14th April 2015 - Suzhou

Today starts with a walk in the park to see the inhabitants doing their daily exercise. This was then followed by a rickshaw ride into the old town and a stop at the local market to take a look at some of the ingredients on sale. mmmmmm. On to a silk factory where the process of silk manufacture was demonstrated and a shopping opportunity for those of that inclination. Then on to the water town of Tong Li for lunch and a walk around this traditional town before heading back to our hotel. Tonight we decided to take a break from the Chinese fare and headed to KFC instead.☺
