We were up early as we had to get to Hongqiao Railway Station, we decided we would get breakfast there to save time. We got a taxi, luckily the roads were quiet until we got the the big elevated roadway, then a lot of the time, we were just crawling. We made it, this place is absolutely huge, through security, then to line up for tickets and hopefully get the right train to Ningbo!!
All good, now to sit back for 2 hours and watch the scenery! We arrived safely, then walked to our hotel, just down the road, like 650m away!!!
We checked in to the Howard Johnson Plaza Ningbo, and because we haven't stayed here before, we were upgraded to a suite with a personal butler!! Our room was nice, 2 rooms, lounge and bedroom, 2 bathrooms as well.
We went our searching for food, lots of places here, but no English menus, saw a sign with a picture of pizza, but couldn't find the shop. A man looked at us, said hello, good, someone who speaks English!! He tried to help us with the pizza, but didn't know where the shop was, he then said his shop sold dumplings, so we went into his shop to eat. He told us how to get to places, and where to visit. He talked to us about his children, he had 3.
Dumplings were delicious, we left and went back to our hotel, as we were being collected and taken for a factory visit.
The rest of the afternoon was spent out, Clint getting lots of new ideas for new projects.
We were then taken for dinner, a feast of food at Tian yi Square, a place we are very familiar with as we have been in Ningbo twice before.
We were taken back to the hotel and an early night to bed, (well 10pm is early for us!!)

Try going to a restaurant and showing them pictures of the food you'd like on your phone.. try an Aussie to Chinese translation app.. it seems a shame to miss out on food there.. Chinese cuisine is very good.. equal to French! Show them pic
tures..of chicken and vegetable! Dumplings... etc. But how lovely to meet your English speaking dumpling maker! Perhaps he can write an order to give in restaurants for you.... the exhibition looks exhausting! But.... xoxo
