Luckily for Brian (since he was fairly certain she was just being melodramatic), Bithiah did not die and was feeling a bit better by the next morning.

The plan for that day was to visit a Yi (pronounced like the letter E) family that lived in a small village up a mountain. That meant heading to the market to pick up food for our meal with the family. Yeah…probably not the best place to go after you’ve been sick to your stomach. The first thing you see amid the crowds of people is meat. Meat everywhere. And not packaged meat like you see in a grocery store - we’re talking slabs of meat laid out every table. And not the cuts of meat you’re used to - legs with the hooves still attached, head and the like. In this market you didn’t buy pork - you bought a piece of a pig. So while Bithiah, Brian, and Jessica counted their blessings they don’t eat meat, John and Orion mixed in with locals and bought ribs to grill.

Once we were stocked up we headed up the mountain.
