Seagulls from Siberia flew to Kunming. It's a sign that to "the city of an eternal spring" came winter.
Every year the seagulls are an attraction for the local people. Everyone gathers around the Green Lake park and takes photos. Seagulls don't only attract the local people but also people selling "special" bread. ("Special" because the same kind of bread is used to make hot dogs in the summer time.)
Another evidence for it that creativity of the Chinese people and their ideas for making money have no limits.

Unfortunately, winter brought also its hardships. It doesn't snow, there is no hard frost like in Poland. Here though -4 Celsius degrees (25F) at night, max. 6 Celsius degrees (43F) during the day, rain and humid air are enough to make winter really hard. There is no heating. In all the buildings heaters just don't exist. During the winter time, when it's not shining, there is no hot water either. I had to quickly buy some warm blanket and some kind of heater. I need to warm up water in a micowave though. Daily needs in such conditions become very basic, not to get cold at night, eat warm dinner and to have hot water beacuse even this is sometimes hard to get.

Mewy z Syberii przylecialy do Kunmingu. Znak, ze do "miasta wiecznej wiosny" przyszla zima.
Co roku mewy sa atrakcja dla mieszkancow. Wszyscy gromadza sie wokol parku z zielonym jeziorem i robia zdjecia.

Musialam wiec szybko zaopatrzyc sie w cieply koc i cos w rodzaju piecyka. Wode do "kapieli" jednak zmuszona jestem podgrzewac w mikrofalowce. Potrzeby czlowieka w takich warunkach sprowadzaja sie do tych najprostszych, zeby nie zmarznac w nocy, zjesc cieply obiad i miec ciepla wode, bo czasem trudno nawet i o to.
