We walked up to this beautiful (I'd say romantic but I'd just be kidding myself) waterfall in the mountains.

I went for a bikeride one day (and stacked the bike after 5 minutes due to a locked front brake, ouch) to the towns north of Dali. This is XiZhou which has some of the best preserve Bai architecture in the region.

I accidentally found myself in a Chinese tourist attraction. I was in the town looking for a market and a Chinese guy kept pointing down a road, at the end I found the Butterfly Spring.

At this one spot there have been found 100 species of butterflies. Yunnan is famed for having the most species in the world (or something like that), hence the tourist attraction.

Of course, the Chinese swarm here in droves so there aren't any butterflies, but there are fake minorities. Every Chinese attraction MUST have people dressed as minority groups, but they're all fake. I really hate it.

Artificial lake at the Butterfly Spring. No Chinese tourists come here because it's too far from the minority music/dance show.

The only butterflies in the place are bred in a greenhouse. What a way to preserve nature!
