Dumpling soup

牛肉麵 (Niúròu miàn)

This translates directly to "beef noodles," but it is safe to assume it will always be a soup. Very tasty and highly recommended.

Bibimbap, again

This one did not have egg, but beef instead. Here the beef came cooked, but I have seen it come raw in Korea

Fishing hotpot again

My host mom really liked this place

Potato and scrambled egg pizza

With mayonnaise drizzled on top. Weird, but actually kind of tasty.

Scallion pancakes

These ones were much fluffier than the ones I had in Taiwan, but were still a greasy, yummy treat.

炸醬麵 (Zhá jiàng miàn)

These ones were from 家有好麵, a noodle shop chain in Shanghai

Candy making

Many of the malls had a candy store chain where you could watch them make hard candies. It was actually really interesting to try and guess what they were making.

Coco Curry Ichibanya in Shanghai

Coco Curry is a Japanese curry chain store, and I was thrilled to find it in Shanghai. My favorite was Pork cutlet curry with cheese.
