Due to being crazy bogged down in work this weekend, the next post will likely be a reflection about one particular aspect of living in Shanghai. For now though, I will leave you with photos that I have from a study break trip I took to visit the art district of Shanghai, known as M50. On that note, I should get back to that essay I am in the middle of writing.

Engagement/pre wedding photos
This is totally a thing in China (and South Korea--HUGE in South Korea), and people will drop hundreds of dollars on these. They look really good though, so... parents, watch out

Coolest bookstore ever
Some of our friends suggested this place to us. It took us two hours to get there (as it was on the outskirts of Shanghai), but it was totally worth it
