The other weekend, we headed out of the city again to a water-town called Zhujiajiao for the Antidote electronic music festival. Music festivals are few and far between, so it was a not-to-be-missed event. There was 10 of us all squashed into a minivan, of course it started raining - just like festivals back home! Once we hit the town, our driver had a little difficulty locating the festival and seemed to be getting into arguments with all the locals. Eventually we found it up a tiny alley through a tiny doorway. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, the rain went away and we went festival-ing. A small festival, like being in someone’s back garden, but very beautiful and charming. So we enjoyed a lovely lazy beer soaked day listening to live music, having a bit of a dance, a bit of a chat, in a little Chinese village!
