View from dorm
Nice early morning view.. Went for lessons this morning. It's was okay but we were pretty much neglected by the class.. okay.. maybe i wasnt that enthusiastic myself. Lessons went on and i listened and... ya.. that's abt it.
Lessons ended and we bounced out of class to take pictures outside bo xue lou. Quite lame actually.. since we are spending another 2 wks here.. no hurry ba. but just took anywayz.
We went for our first enrichment lesson on 'understanding shanghai's culture' (translated... ) It was quite fun actually, but most of the contents were repeated so.. but it pays to listen of course (this is a politically correct statement... )
The aftenoon was spent in the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition hall and SHanghai Old Street (er... again, translated) Being the professional tourist, i took pics and got stared at (erz..) The Exhibition hall was fascinating. THere were motion pictures within the exhibition as well as models of Shanghai. It was cool and the information was highly enriching. IT sort of gave us an overview of what SHanghai actually is and an insight into the history and development of Shanghai. Lao Jie was more of a shopping place. THe architecture was

Er... ignore the messy beds... it was too early to pack. ancient but the place is highly economicalized (is there such a word?) There was shopping of course, but.. i guess the original objective wasn't that huh?
