Tim relaxes in 5* luxury
Just as well the room is nice as we spent the whole day in it!Aggghhhhh! I am ill! I think I must have eaten something that didn’t agree with me and now I have an upset stomach. Luckily I did not feel too bad yesterday and I managed to drag myself from lovely Yangshuo to here (Xi’an).
We had decided to treat ourselves so we are staying in a 5* hotel (it was cheap - we are not that extravagant!) When we got here we got given a free room upgrade so our room is massive. It is L shaped and has a bedroom end and an area with a desk, large sofa and armchair. The bathroom is gigantic too with a big shower and separate bath. Bizarrely the walls and door of the toilet room are made of glass and therefore see through.
Today we should have gone to see the Terracotta Army but I was too ill so I spent the day in bed instead. Luckily we have a big TV with lots of channels so I was not forced to watch
CNN Today all day. I now have some tablets so hopefully I will feel much better tomorrow as I plan to drag myself to see the Terracotta Army no matter what!
