Finally, some views of Beijing at night from "Yin on 12", the bar atop our hotel. No skyscrapers - because there are no buildings allowed to be higher than the Temple of Heaven. Taller buildings are outside the main city, giving a 'bowl-like' structure to Beijing.

When this picture was taken, the band performing at "Yin on 12" was playing Marvin Gaye's 'What's Going On?". That was strange.
