Mr Cheng
Mr Cheng sounds like a legend! I also like the way you've attempted to bring the art form of spitting to life for us! Glad you're having a great time, Love Paul and Leann x

Hello Darlings
It's a cold, rainy Sunday and I'm catching up with your experience of China, I have sat there so long I'm losing the will to live so I have printed it out and will read the rest later. You are both doing an amazing job with the photos and descriptions; if you should take it up professionally I'll be your Literary Agent. I miss you both very much - Stay Safe. Love you much Mum

my run in with the legendary Mr. Cheng..
My friend and I took the bus up to yellow mountain, and instead of being dropped off at the bus station, were shown the door at Mr. Cheng's restaurant; being able to speak Chinese we asked many times if it was the right place to get off for the mountain, and were dutifully told yes. After the bus had closed the door on us and quickly driven away, we noticed we weren't in quite the right place - however, Mr. Cheng's restaurant staff informed us that Mr. Cheng would be showing up soon, and that he spoke English (which wasn't that important, as we both spoke Chinese). Things were beginning to look a bit fishy.. Not hungry, and mostly just wanting to get to the mountain, my friend and I proceeded walking in the direction of the bus station. Mr. Cheng showed up a minute later on motorbike, "helpfully" informing us that we were going in the wrong direction, having taken the wrong bus, and that he, the "top dog," whom we could look up on google, could help us out. After walking back to his restaurant and wasting 20 minutes of our lives, we finally proceeded to just ignore him, walked the "wrong direction" straight to the bus station, and recaptured out lives.
