Hello to all...hope everyone is good-im top notch!!
having the time of my life!..where to start
well there is a new volunteer started called rob whose volunteering at my orphanage...well cool guy we get on so its all good!
didnt really teach many kids after i got back from phnom penh as its really close to khmer new year so none of them were up for studying!me and rob are also teaching football which is really fun but the most tiring thing ever to say the least...i honestly dont think ive ever sweated so much!we also played bare foot on stone encrusted concrete floor so our feet were killing us!
on saturday we went to an army base shooting range about an hours tuk tuk drive away from where i'm staying!it was the most amazing thing ever!haha
i shot an ak47 first..about 30bullets and i was sooo nervous before i did it!it was honestly so cool..u had to fire it at a target..it was so loud and powerful!they said i could kill a moving chicken for an extra $15 but i wasnt sure if i'd hit it or not so chose not to...i think they just cut its head off instead and eat it in soup!very popular out here.i then shot a handgun which was really powerful...i felt like james bond!i was loving it
the best part most definately had to be James' turn.we drove an hour and a half in a 4 by 4 to another army barracks down dodgey dirt lanes into emptiness and he fired a B40 grenade launcher at a mountain!!it was unbelievable!i cant expplain how terrfying but unbelievably amazing it was!everywhere echoed and this huge missile/grenade thing exploded in loads of trees on a mountain!he loved it!
