After Neil left us in Vietnam (rather dramatically i must add after missing his connecting flight to Kuala Lumper!) Justin & I took the coach from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh. Basically however long they tell you the journey will be add at least another 1 1/2 hours!

Whilst in Phnom Penh we visited the S-19 prison - basically a scholl which the Khymer Rouge turned into a prison in the 1970s - Most of the prisoners here were sent to the killing fields where they were executed. We also visited the killing fields the next day - a very sad place.

On the cheerier side the museum and palace were lovely...!

At the killing fields. There are around 9000 skulls in the memorial building. A very chilling and sad place. Hard to believe the killings happened less than 30 years ago...
