Phnom Penh - city of beggars and baguettes.
This was a beautiful city, full of French influences and disintegrating grandeur, but you cannot escape being haunted by it's history of blood and violence.

What used to be an orchard became fields of mass graves for thousands of Cambodians.

Political prisoners (intellectuals, soldiers, people who wore glasses!, govt. officials etc) and their entire families were held here and tortured before being taken to Cheong Ek to be murdered.
