Today we started our adventure a bit later so we could have a swim after breakfast
After our swim we got ready and we were off in our tuk tuk south to Tonle Say lake where we took 2 different boats.Our first is what they classify as a big boat which was our main boat and took us past the houses on stilts and floating houses village. The next stop was where we jumped on a small boat for 30 minutes and went through the freshwater tree forest and then back to the bigger boat to go out to the lake and back.
we eventually returned and we were off to Bantrey Srei which was another amazing temple bein rebuilt. This was a long drive...especially by tuk tuk. In our adventure our driver was making a turn and something went wrong and we ended up in a ditch with Kerri falling out and the driver falling off. Luckily everyone walked away with no injuries. With the help of a few very nice Cambodians we pulled the tuk tuk out and were off to Bantrey Sri which was well worth it. We then decided to skip the landmine museum and
go to Preah Khan which like Ta Prohm the day before was in the jungle and was in bad shape but when you look deeper at it there was a big storey and you could see the beauty.
Next we decided to head home for a swim instead of going to a temple for a sunset.
The hotel as usual never disappointed with snacks at the pool and after a guest party with free beverages. From there we were off to pub street and night market.
