01/20/10 - 01/24/10 We left Battambang at 7am on board the boat for Siem Reap. We had been told in guide books the journey could take anywhere from 4-12 hours - that's quite the variation! - depending on the water levels. Angkor Thom is still very jungle covered, so there was more shade and more moss than at other temple sites

More steep stairs! The must have hed long legs and small feet back in the day to climb these everyday!
