After climbing to the top of the steep-staired temple, Lauren and Simon were rewarded with beautiful spots to relax and enjoy views over the Angkor temples and jungle

Much of Angkor still requires restoration, a mammoth task as only some of the jigsaw pieces remain and almost all are weathered.

These are over 1000 years old, and have been exposed to the elements the entire time. Amazing.

A little premature on the afternoon siesta, Simon somehow managed to nap in the bumpy tuk tuk while Lauren obligingly took photos of the fields and villages so that he could enjoy them later.
