So we took the legendary bus ride from Bangkok to Siem Reap, which doesnt gain its status from being a comfort ride, but from the fact you walk out feeling like you have just gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson. To make things worse me and Kyle had slept for less than an hour in Bangkok before gettin on the bus at 7:00am due to partyin. I had the worse seat on the whole bus with the wheel arch below my feet meaning my knees were by my chest whislt bouncing down the dirt round constantly for 10hours. The seats didnt recline and had no head rest and the bus was a crowded sweat box. I was expecting to arrive at a dodgy guest house at midnight, but was suprisingly the best room I have stopped in for the price since being in South East Asia. Turns out the bus was suspose to arrive at 7oclock but the bus takes you to a guest house which they get comission for. The guest houses are very aware of the fact that if you arrive late at night 9 times out 10 you goingto stop at there guest house. So the buses

are actually known for the fact that they take the worse roads possible to make the journey as long and as uncomfortable as humanly possible so you stop at there guest houses on arrival.

The big thing that attracts tourist to Cambodia and Siem Reap is Angkor, which is a cluster of sereal, breath taking temples, the most famous being Angkor Wat and one of the temples was also featured in the start of the first tomb raider move. Cba to say much more than that cause its one of them things that you have to go see for yourself.

There aint much more to do in Seim Reap but still hanged around for a few days cause they were some alright bars to float away the day in.

Also had a biazzare day when we walked out a resteruant to see crowds of people and monks down the street for as far as the eye could see. Which was strange since Siem Reap is a small place and there was a good 70 000 people walking down the street. Turns out some high ranking monk had died. Later that day i think i may have got my face on Cambodain TV cause when we were sat in the bar they were doing some filming with us sat in the background.

Got loadz more photos just cba to hang around and w8 for them to upload, but will hopefully add some more over the nxt few days.

From a distant looks almost like a rumble of stones but the closer and closer u get the more impressive it becomes. There are 216 faces in the temple in total giving it a era feel.
