Entrance to Angkor Thom For all who are hoping for a lot of quick wit and general amusement will be fairly disappointed with this entry. The journey to Cambodia was to get off the rock and go on a little jaunt with Joe, and to try to keep my head out of the water, as you’ll see I did a damn poor job of that. Angkor, even the tourist trap that it is, is bloody amazing, the scale of it is breathtaking. Most of the pictures don’t have too many travelers in them because I tried really hard to get it like that, this is a very false perception, people are everywhere. I’m just going to let the pictures take you through the trip, I really wasn’t there long enough to develop an interesting story. The one thing that I can say is I now know how the people deserted the area, they all fell down the crazy stairs they built and died. How they could build such beautiful monuments and then decide that the best way to build a ladder was to disguise it as a set of stairs. All of the pictures are in order so you can go through the same way I did.
