Having just arrived in Pursat, a small town on the road between Battembang and Phnom Penh, after two gruelling days spent traveling through the least explored and mine filled Cardamom mountain range, my intention here is to just say that the full entry about this recent escapade will likely take a couple of days to translate into coherent sentences.

Meanwhile. With the second storm in two hours raging above our heads (there's a corrugated tin roof between us), we are recuperating from a lack of sleep and food and more excercise than any but the most masochistic could hope for ....in a single lifetime! Oh, the power has returned for a minute or two and the leak above my bed is weeping again. Despite the overpowering smell of sewerage in the room, this Guesthouse (loosly termed) is the Ritz when compared to our unexpected overnighter in the jungle.

Well, it's "goodnight" from me, and a "goodnight" from Sophat too!

PS these entries are typed on a Blackberry. I don't always have the time or inclination to edit them. Grammer and spelling be damned!
