Being LameBeing LameBeing Lame

Re-enacting the cover of the lonely planet book. gotta love it
I'm alive!!!

No Internet in Northern Myanmar.

Interestingly enough there actually is no Bay in Mandalay. The Vegas Hotel is I guess made up. Lying liars and the lies they tell. (There's a casino in Vegas called Mandalay Bay)

Mandalay is hot, dirty, and full of poverty. I only stayed here for 3 days, and though I enjoyed myself, I can easily say this is my least favorite city.
I'd have to say the coolest things are the Four Ancient Cities, and the Walls of the Palace (not the pallace), oh and of course the Chapatis place that serves unbelievable indian food.

The one thing that really bothers me or should I say effects me in this citty is all the poverty. Example: I saw this lady begging for money in front the nylon ice cream shop. She was so skinny and the baby was the smallest thing I have ever seen. I gave her 50 cents which is a huge amount of money here. I later found out that another tourist took her to the hospital only to find out that she had AIDS and TB and refused help. AHHHH terrible. Big breath

Chilling that's there job. They do it so so well.

Met some group of students who go Mandalay mountain and wear shirts that say "Speak to Me in English." Thought it was cool untill they told me they were Mormon and they friends Mr and Mrs Mormon taught them English, probably in exchange for their denouncement of Buddhism.

I have so so many pictures but the computer is painfully slow and I mist get on with my life. Mayve more later.

Don't really have much to say. Check out the pictures:
