Wonderful stuff :)
Your pictures most certainly do the lake justice! What is the story behind the white, powdery substance on some of the people's faces? Any ideas?

Thanks!

water, water everywhere.
As usual brilliant pictures, your blog captures the very essence of the country, its like being there through your eyes. Travel books should be knocking at your door because of your blogs, continue writing them, keep enjoying your travels and stay safe. regards Paul.

Loved every single photo!
You are an excellent photography and it enriches your blogs. Your writing is very good also. We are going to Myanmar in November and your blog has us so excited. We were supposed to go in 2007 but the riots broke out and we changed our plans.

Probably a good decision to change plans!
We were speaking to a Burmese guy yesterday who told us he was studying in Mandalay at the time of the riots and had to leave the city and return to his village. Hope your trip in November hits no such obstacles!
