If You ask me i always travel with a netbook or iPad in my backpack as You can never know that It will be totally avialable the place you are visiting.I recently visited Bhutan and experienced it.The Places where good thanks to my Netbook i made a Journal which i will be sahring soon.I faced the Problem of Internet Connectivity whihc is solved by a Native and friend of Mine.
It's always a good practice to carry one of these devices just in case.
