Inside the chapel is a relic from James Clark Ross's expedition to the South Pole. This communion chalice was carried with the expedition on the HMS Erebus. Generations later, the family of Lt. Bird who had brought the chalice to Antarctica, gave the chalice to the Chapel of the Snows.

Fines

Around the station are bins like this labeled "Fines". These bins contain the dirt and rocks you see all over McMurdo. If there are icy patches in areas where people need to walk, you can scatter the fines over the ice. Berkley and OzGold are fighting over the shovel on the fines bin. They finally worked things out.

Stuffed Animals!
Captain Cook is an adorable penguin. It's amazing that there are actual active volcanoes in Antartica.
