ok so i have like one more day in kampala... i managed to get some gifts for people that i hopefully won't break over the next few months. we got out of class early today and i head some cheese nan (like a cheesey pita thing) and a nice cold nile beer. it made me happy... that's about it. well ok - not really. we got to talk to a homestay dad who happens to be a member of parliament - specifically for the districts we visited in lira... it was frustrating and difficult. yup - i would elaborate but i'm not really in the mood - just thinking about it actually is making me a bit angry. there's such a disconnect between southern and northern uganda. - i'll leave it at that and spare you my ranting.

i miss you parents... hope new kitty is doing well
i miss you danielle... (and the cats and plants - hope all is well - i'll try to call you tomorrow probably.
ellen and wayne - did you visit uganda - i can't remember
