My husband, Anthony, have returned from living in Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa. We moved there in October of 2006, and returned home in January of 2009. I miss it terribly! We are from Tennessee and have one son, Joshua. We were missionaries in Chimala, Tanzania from 1992 - 1995 and fell in love with the country as a whole. We came home, got some additional schooling, allowed Joshua to do all the things teenagers should do, graduate high school, and moved back to Africa. Have come home, Joshua is married. Shopping for Fabric!

For the Firendship Star project I let the ladies chose their own fabrics. It was like going to Hancocks - well almost.

Trying to get it just right!

It was funny watching the ladies and seeing how each of them dealt with getting all the right pieces in the right placement.

Emmy's Star

Emmy was the first one finished!

All DONE!

Several of the ladies wanted me to see their final product! I am glad we were able to do something for them.

Monduli didn't want to be left out! They wanted to sew too!

Men ALLOWED

Innocent couldn't stand sitting by and watching .. he had to get in on the action.

The children were presented their quilts after Sunday services.
