This morning we took Pat McIntosh to Kikatiti for worship. Pat has been in Arusha for two weeks teaching at the Andrew Connally School of Preaching. He is returning home and the end of this week. Kikatit is a small congregation that rents a classroom to use for worship. There were two children there this morning. I was able to use another classroom at the school to teach a children's Bible lesson. I am going to include some pictures of the congregation and the children's class.
Daniel and Abby took their first trip to the market last week. John and I went to get some materials that I am going to use to teach the African ladies how to make some "homemade" Bible class visuals. They have both learned to say "Habari?" (What's the news?) and "Shikamoo" (An African term of respect) and practiced saying them both to the people they passed. Next time I am at the market I'll try to take some pictures and write a blog on the market. It is quite an adventure. 😊
I am also including some pictures of the kids playing in the yard, for the grandparents!! 😊
