I spent some time at the hide this afternoon. As expected, elephants came to visit. Being winter there is not much water out in the bush for them to drink, so every day elephants will come to our waterhole. At about 4pm they appeared out of the bush. The herd walked along the edge of the waterhole towards the freshly pumped water. Here they drank and then they walked away. It was a very quick visit, but still amazing to be so close to these great creatures!
