All good things must come to an end and today we all drove the few kilometres to the Bobos Cape Town depot and returned our motor homes. Most people have had a few problems on their vehicles for Rian to deal with and ours could have had a more thorough pre hire inspection, but on the whole they have served us well considering the punishing journey we have put them through.

With the exception of us and our tour escorts Nelson and Barbara the party were flying off immediately, so we said farewell as they boarded the coach to take them to the airport. The four of us went to the Breakwater Lodge Hotel in Cape Town where we are having an extra night. Surprisingly the hotel has been converted from a former prison.

To my amazement, I have posted this entry using the wifi service provided by Emirates while we are 34,000ft above the Black Sea.
