Hello people, well here we are in Cape Town, we arrived last night at about 7pm after a 11hr flight from Doha. The taxi from the airport took about 20 mins to the hostal which is lovely. We were shown to our room which is poolside (although we probably won't be using the pool) and headed straight to the hostal bar. We opted for a couple of beers and a cocktail and chatted to barman who turns out lived in conwy for a couple of years, having had no sleep for over 24hrs the beer seem to go straight to our head so we decided to call it a night. Today we woke up and saw Cape Town in the day light which is an amazing beautiful place, we have just come back from a short walk around town which is like a mini London, despite reading peoples reviews on South Africa we can honestly say we felt so safe and relaxed, there is security guards on every street corner and the people are very friendly. We move on to our next hostal tomorrow which we will be staying in for 6 nights. As I write this we are about to go to the local market to taste some local food and drink local beer!
