Well we seem to be sorted. Anything that we've forgotten will have to stay that way, for now anyway. The kids are super excited and have been doing a riveting sleep countdown since around 52.
Gary and I could not be approaching the flights more differently.
I have all my phobias in a row and catered for:
tight spaces; heights; control freak; strangers; dirt; queues; boredom, other people's children; my own children;
basically inconvenience of any kind, will be found in the next 36 hours.
Gary, on the other hand, is already relishing the idea of handing control over to other people. Being told what to do and not having to make any decisions himself, basically behaving like a sheep, is very exciting to him, along with not being reachable for 36 long hours while stuck in an aluminium cylinder in the sky....whoo hoo!!!
