Saturday 7th February: day six - Cape Town.

Saturday in Cape Town was a catch up with 'jobs'!!

Dirty washing to the cleaners, some clothes to be altered or repaired, finding reading books and second hand shops etc etc. It was also a great day to catch up with friends: we managed to meet with Helen and Mike Cowley, good friends of Judith from back in Lancashire. Later, in the evening we managed a quick look at the Victoria and Albert Waterfront (Mitchell's bar) before being entertained to a lovely Italian diner, with Mike and Helen, Helens sister Marian, her mum and dad, plus Auntie Marian. And a very sociable time we had too. Seems impossible to find a 'bad' wine and the steaks are to die for!



INTERESTING FACT: Much of Cape Town, South Africa generally takes Saturday afternoon off and Sunday too. Not a bad thing!
