(Photo caveat: most of the pictures here are of poor quality due to our camera, which broke in the middle of the Garden Route. Bummer!) After our big halloween party in Capetown, we headed for "The Garden Route." We have been reading about this infamous route for months and were excited to finally begin the journey. One of the highlights of the township tour was visiting a small, but growing, Rastafarian community. Super friendly and interesting neighborhood.

The Knysna Heads are incredibly difficult to navigate through for ships of any kind. There are over 250 recorded sea-vessels scattered on the bottom of the ocean in the area.

It seems pretty mellow to drive through a park like this, yes? The day before we went, a large White Rhino charged two Norwegians and crushed their little car! They weren't hurt, but aren't likely to return.

The water temp was usually mid-to-upper fifties. One of the cool things about Supertubes is they have all these benches for people to watch when the waves are great.
