Hello people

So this is our 3rd day here and already we are melting!! We spent the first day and a half relaxing in out own private rooms at Cassies Nans with a swimming pool- heaven in the heat. There are baby ducks which Cassie has got besotted with and we just about know the names of the 6 dogs.

Today we went to watch the 4th day at the test cricket between south africa and india- unfortunately we didnt see tendulkar bat but we did see him take a wicket which is rarer than seeing him get a test century. It was about 40 deg and we had to buy a flag just to cover cassie up for 15 mins until we were in the shade! Cassie got told she was white and that she needed the sun her reply was " i know i am, but i am trying!!" Even though it was hot there was a breeze that made it bearable. Amazingly Cassie has only got a little burnt (although she did put lots of sun cream on) on her arm a nice square patch!!

Plans for the rest of the week include:
learning how to drive a huge van- with a 2.8 turbo litre engine
seeing Cassies dad and Jeff (old grandad)
and relaxing by the pool

.... oh and cassie shopping tomoz already!!!

we miss you all, love Charlie and Cassie xx
