Hi everyone

Arrive in Cape Town yesterday after a very bumpy flight for pretty much most of the 12 hours .. i wasn't scared at all needless to say Rob slept for a good few hours of it.

Went to V and A for a meal yesterday and had a wander round what feels like a very different Cape Town from last time we came - no four star hotels but we do have an awesome view of table mountain !
There are seals swimming wild in the sea on the water front and it is beautiful.

Today we have been on a winetasting tour (with cheese) around the winelands - it was beautiful and really wanted to bring some wine with us around 1.50 per bottle and delicious but if theres no room for the heels in the back pack!!!!

Went from there to a cheetah sanctuary where they fund some of the conservation work for Cheetah's over here it involves training special antolian shepard guard dogs which scare of the cheetah's from game so the farmers don't shoot them and its working they are on the increase for the first time - and we had the opportunity to meet Enigma one of the Cheetah's and stroke him and he was purring ! should be able to upload the pictures next time the memory card reader at this cafe is broken

The truck has arrived today and we have our welcome meeting tonight - tomorrow and saturday is Orange river where we are hoping to get canoeing so we shall keep you posted when we can
lots of love
Nikki and Rob xx

PS i saw my first cockroach today and didn't scream too loud !!
