After good veggie breakfast and nipping into local chemist for Malaria tablets at third of UK price we strolled in gorgeous sunshine along the scenic waterfront from Sea Point to the V & A Waterfront stopping for a coffee and a crossiant at a cafe overlooking the ocean, V & A a bit too modern and developed for our taste but fun seeing the seals near to the departure point for Robbens Island and watching some young African children making music.

We wandered into the main commercial part of town and had delicious sandwiches on main street (which incidently had a photograph of the spider outside the Guggenheim taken from exactly the same spot as I took 2 months ago). As we were tired we sat outside the bar at our lodgings for a sundowner and then turned in.

We were lucky to have a clear view of the mountain which is often shrouded in the so called 'tablecloth' of mist
