We had our first sea break away in years. The boys are still small and the sand and sea is one big sandpit for them! Adventurer 5 is a bit weary of the sea but plays around in the wet sand close to the edge of the water. Whereas Adventurer 4 will just go all the way in!

We stayed at the Peace Haven Self Catering Units. Very comfortable and neat place. Not fancy, but budget friendly location. It is on the beach with a few restaurants walking distance away. Take aways and restaurant food is not a happy option for us, so a Spar was just around the corner as well to stock up on fresh foods and snacks every day.

We travelled to Durban's OShaka World as well for a day and enjoyed the shows, the aquarium and the swimming pools. Part of the adventure rides were closed for maintenance since we visited the off-peak season but it did not spoil our fun!

We also explored up and down the coast as far south as St Michaels on Sea where the sea was quite choppy but not too bad to enjoy an ice cream.
